TikTok live chat text to speech on PC

On TikTok LIVE it is hard to play and watch the chat at the same time. LiveEcho reads your viewers’ messages out loud, so you hear the chat without looking away from the game.

What you need

• a Windows 10 or 11 PC,
• your TikTok username (without @),
• LiveEcho, which is a single .exe file. No installation.

The LiveEcho interface is in Polish, so button names are given in Polish with English in brackets.

Step by step

1. Download LiveEcho with the button on this page and run it. LiveEcho is not code-signed yet, so on first run Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unknown publisher. The SHA-256 checksum next to the download button lets you check that you have the original file.
2. Enter your TikTok name in the TikTok field (without @) and click Połącz (Connect). It connects while you are LIVE.
3. Turn on “Czytaj na głos” (read aloud). From now on new chat messages are read out.
4. Choose who gets read under “Kogo czytać na głos?”. Keep everyone, or limit it to followers, subscribers or moderators.
5. Pick a voice. Change the voice, speed and volume in settings and use “Test głosu” to hear it.

What else it does

• reads TikTok, Twitch and Kick chat at the same time (how to set it up),
• shows chat on stream as an OBS overlay,
• banned-words filter and simple spam handling,
• global hotkeys, for example to mute reading quickly,
• end credits with your viewers, gifts and a tap ranking.

Is it safe?

LiveEcho connects to the public chat of your LIVE and runs on your PC. It does not need your TikTok password and does not send your data to the author. Speech is generated with Microsoft Edge TTS.
